Technology
Since 2002, Aegis Technology has developed leading scientific and engineering expertise in the development and fabrication of nanomaterials and nanocomposites. We have five PhD scientists and engineers on our research team and a number of partners from national laboratories and universities. Our projects have been funded via SBIR/STTR contracts from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DoE), and NASA. We also conduct multiple in-house projects related to the design of nanomaterials and nanocomposites. We welcome inquiries from all organizations. No job is too small.
Aegis Technology uses various process techniques including cryogenic ball milling to synthesize a variety of nanostructured powders for protection coatings, high-strength alloys and composites, magnetic materials, thermoelectric materials, and joining materials. Aegis Technology can also consolidate various bulk nanostructured materials including high-strength alloys and composites, magnetic materials, thermoelectric materials, and high thermal conductivity materials.
The scope of our work includes:
- Design
- Modeling
- Engineering and Prototyping
- Manufacturing & Assembly
- Testing
